Great Day after Surgery!

Devin had a really uneventful night last night. The surgeon came by this morning,  and was pleased with how things looked and the progress he is making. Since there wasn't  much swelling, they were able to go ahead and close his chest this morning. Typically they leave the chest open until the swelling decreases and they are fairly sure he will not have to be opened back up.

Dan & I spent the day with him today. The doctors and nurses keep telling us how well he's doing for everything he's been through. I believe the term "rock star" has been used several times to describe him.

We are daily witnessing specific prayers being answered, and it's truly quite amazing. Thank you for taking a moment here and there to lift Devin in prayer!
